About Mr. Mayer

Mr. Mayer graduated from Eastern Illinois University in the Spring of 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English and a certification to teach grades 6-12.  This is his fifth  year teaching in the Waterloo School district.  He also teachers print media for 7th grade students.  While at school, Mr. Mayer is a co-sponsor of Student Council, the jr. high chess coach, and the freshman baseball coach.        

Outside of school, Mr. Mayer enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  He has two beautiful one-year od twin daughters, Arabella and Juliana.  He enjoys playing all different kinds of sports and being outside.  He is also a huge St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Celtics fan.  In his other free time, Mr. Mayer likes to read and watch movies.
