Dear Student, 

Welcome to the FOURTH grade! My name is Mr.Toennies and I will be your teacher this year! Let me tell you a little about me. I have lived in Waterloo all my life. I went to Gibault High School and was very active in the drama department while there. I attended S.I.U. Carbondale and graduated in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies. I finished my Master's through S.I.U. Edwardsville. I enjoy teaching history, riding bicycle, going to movies, riding roller coasters, attending St. Louis Blues hockey games, reading, and spending time with family and friends!
