Study Tips

READING-

Encourage your child to complete their RIF reading assignment each evening. Go over the stories in the reading source book before each theme test. Your child needs to study and practice their weekly vocabulary terms.

SOCIAL STUDIES-

Quiz your child over a section or chapter using review questions at the end of each chapter. Review important terms. Study any chapter notes taken in class.

MATH-

Practice basic facts (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) regularly. Practice a variety of games at EverydayMath.com. Look over the parent letter for each unit. It has study tips for that topic.

SCIENCE-

Practice vocabulary terms for each unit. Review homework sheets.
