GTT Pre-engineering

Automation & Robotics is taught in the fourth quarter of each school year using the software, RoboPro and Fischerteckniks!

During the 2007-2008 school year, Waterloo Junior High School  began

participating in a pre-engineering curriculum through Project

Lead the Way (PLTW). Within PLTW there is a middle school component called

Gateway to Technology (GTT). At the eighth grade level students will be participating

in the Automation and Robotics unit. Each student will work with a partner on a

software program called RoboPro to write a simple program to drive gears and

create moving parts.
