Science Fair!

Friday, December 16, 2011 is the date of the School Science Fair for eighth grade students who selected the competitive division of science fair! Display boards will be available Monday, November 28th and may be picked up by parents before school (7:30-7:45am), during 8th grade lunch (12:50-1:20pm), or after school (2:50-3:10pm). Students may also take their own display board home after school.

Only students who selected competitive science fair will receive tri-fold display boards; students who selected non-competitive science fair will receive poster board.

Completing a science fair project is part of the eighth grade science curriculum at WJHS and students

have the opportunity to select competitive or non-competitive participation. For those students who are

interested, competition is available at the regional and state level through the Illinois Junior Academy of

Science. Pictured above are those students who traveled to the University of Illinois Assembly Hall for

the 2011 State Science Fair!
