Welcome!

I am always ready to start another school year and look forward to yet another great year here at Waterloo Junior High School!  I will be teaching Language for Team Blizzard students and one section of History. 

After graduating high school, I attended Belleville Area College and then transfered to McKendree to earn my BS in Education.  Several years later, I earned my Masters in Education through SIUE.  This is my fourteenth year of teaching, and during those fourteen years I have taught at the junior high level for twelve. I truly enjoy being surrounded by the energy of the junior high student. Four years ago I joined the Waterloo Junior High staff.  What an amazing place to work! The support and involvement of the families in the community is like no other.

Outside of school I spend my time with my husband, Chris, and our amazing kiddos; Emma 6, Ellie 3, and our little guy, Jack Thomas, who is 1!  I always look forward to the time I spend with my family.  I am sure you know how quickly time passes and how fast children grow! They are priceless!
