Language Class

Language  will focus on different forms of writing through process pieces. Students will be working with Daily Oral Language,  some sentence patterns, grammar and vocabulary or spelling activities to help advance their writing skills.  Highlights of the course include a memory book and careers unit to provide students with basic skills to succeed in the workforce which will compliment freshmen registration.  The year will conclude with students authoring a children’s book applying all the writing tools they have gathered in the course of the year. This project has been a perennial favorite.
