Classroom Management Plan

CLASSROOM RULES:

1. Be Respectful!
(of others and their property/space, of classmates, your class materials, and me)

2. Be Responsible!
(for your learning and homework, for your actions and choices, for yourself)

3. Be Safe!
(use equipment and supplies the correct way, follow hallway rules, cafeteria rules, and playground rules)

4. Be Prepared!
(stay organized, have all school materials and homework at school each day)

NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES
The 1st time a rule is challenged a warning is issued and the student moves his/her number to the Foul 1 area (warning).  The 2nd time a rule is challenged the number is moved to Foul 2 (lose 5 minutes of recess) area and he/she loses 5 minutes of his/her next recess.  The 3rd time a rule is challenged the number is moved to Foul 3 (lose 10 minutes of recess) area and he/she loses 10 minutes of his/her next recess.  Severe problems will be an automatic loss of recess, note or call to parents, or a referral to the principal’s office.

POSITIVE CONSEQUENCES
Each child is awarded a sticker at the end of each day for not having to move his/her number.  Once the behavior chart is complete the student may choose a prize from the prize box. Also, marbles are awarded to the class for our marble jar rewards and Rockin Rogers are given out for the weekly drawing.
