Reading
Reading classes will read a selection of different genres of literature including, but not limited to, novels, non-fiction, short stories, and multicultural literature. Throughout the year, students will participate in educational activities and group work that incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening. All students will also be expected to complete 90 minutes of home reading per week. This is a graded assignment and will be checked each Friday. Students will need a parent, guardian and/or study hall teacher’s signature (not initials) to verify the times of reading.
