Meet Mrs. Matson

       I grew up in the Peoria area and lived in the Chicago suburbs before moving to Waterloo.  My husband, Carl, and I have two adult sons and one granddaughter.  I enjoy reading, watching NFL football, and visiting with family.  I am an avid Chicago Bears fan.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from SIU Edwardsville.  I have previously taught in the Peoria and Chicago areas.  I have taught First Grade at Zahnow for over 25 years.
