Mrs. Ryterski's Web Page

My name is Melanie Ryterski.  I have been an elementary music teacher with the Waterloo School District for 15 years.  I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree at Eastern Illinois University, and my Masters in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  I have taught vocal and general music at all grade levels during my teaching career, but presently I teach Kindergarten through Second Grade, and I really enjoy working with primary school students! I am currently assigned to WJ Zahnow in the morning and Rogers Elementary in the afternoons. 

I am married to Craig Ryterski.  He is an instrumental and general music teacher with the Columbia School District.  We have two beautiful daughters:  Claire, age 14 and Grace, age 10.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family, reading, and scrap-booking.
