Meet Mrs. Souris

     Welcome to this page, my name is Hariklia (Haroula) Souris and I am the self-contained special education teacher for W.J. Zahnow Elementary. My love and desire to work with young children started very early on in my life. I am married to a math teacher and we have two young children. In our house we say that "We all go to school everymorning".

     My education started in Athens, Greece where I am from. I have a three year Advance Associates Degree in Early Childhood from the Athens Center of Pedagogical Research and Studies in Athens, Greece. I hold a B.A. in Special Education from Webster University, St. Louis, MO. I also hold a Masters of Educational Leadership through McKendree University, Lebanon, IL.

     This is the fourteenth year of teaching; two years in early childhood and twelve years of teaching students with disabilities.  This is my eight year teaching at W.J. Zahnow which has been a great honor.  I look forward to many fulfilling years at Zahnow working with our students and meeting their needs as their teacher.
