Resources for Parents

 As a special education teacher, part of my job is to be an advocate for the students and their parents.

These are some basic tips and contacts that might help your journey: 

 1)  Always keep a copy of the most recently IEP (Individualized Educational Plan).  

 2) Contact the teacher when you have any questions or concerns before it is too late.

 3) Everybody is learning in a different way, think out of the box. It works!

 4) Parents take care yourself! Your kids need you.

 6) A Resource Parent Group is active in our county orginized by several teachers in order to provide resources/ help / information /  to families with different issues or subjects.
