All About Mrs. Zeidler (Zidler)
I have been teaching first grade since 2004. I love first grade and the growth I see in the children throughout the year. I have been married since 1990 and have two children that attend Waterloo School District. I have a Schnauzer named Sophie and an Airedale named Stella. I love to garden and work outside. I also love to take pictures and attempt to scrapbook. :-) I have my Masters degree in elementary education. I consistently look for new teaching strategies, lessons, and creative ways for children to learn. Children should be given the freedom to make choices to enhance learning. I incorporate theme-based centers into my weekly schedule as well as literacy centers where children choose their daily activity. Every child can learn when given a positive environment.
