Physical Education Rules

     Physical Education is an important and necessary part of your child's education.  A 20-minute period focuses not only on performance, fitness, and state goals, but sportsmanship, rules, cooperation, and maintaining a positive attitude.  It is a way to allow students to be creative, express themselves, and learn the importance of physical activity in a structured environment.  There is NOT a strong emphasis on winning/losing, but on doing your best and having fun.

 

     Please review the following PE rules:

 

1.  All students must wear tennis shoes on PE days.

2.  Enter and exit the gym slowly and quietly,

3.  Quietly sit in your assigned spot and wait for instructions.

4.  Keep hands and feet to yourself.

5.  Be respectful towards all people and equipment.

6.  Do your BEST and have FUN!

 

CONSEQUENCES:

1.  verbal warning

2.  Removal from activity

3.  Removal from group

4.  Note or phone call home/referral to principal

 

REWARDS:

1.  Praise

2.  Stickers

3.  Treats
