Welcome to Early Childhood!!!

My name is Traci Biffar and I am the Early Childhood teacher at Zahnow Elementary.  Zahnow is a wonderful place to be with fantastic teachers.  I love coming to work everyday!!!   Another hobby of mine is Volleyball!  I am the 8th grade Waterloo Junior High Volleyball Coach.  I really enjoy doing this because it gives me an opportunity to work with a variety of age groups. 

I attended Waterloo School District all through my school career and graduated from Waterloo High School.  After graduating, I went to SWIC and received my Associates Degree.  Then I went on to SIU-C and SIU-E to receive my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  I decided to continue my education and finished my Masters Degree in Early Childhood and my Early Childhood Special Education Certificate.

My wonderful husband, Tony, is the Automotive teacher at Waterloo High School.  We love having the same schedule and having our summers off to spend with our kids.  I have three children:  Devin, Lucas and Emily who also attend Waterloo School District.  School is our life!!!  And we have the sweetest yellow labrador retriever named Remi who always wants to be sitting in your lap or getting her belly rubbed!!!!    We love having our summers off together.  We never know what we are going to end up doing.  We do a lot of camping, swimming and spending time outdoors.
