About Me
Hello. I started my teaching career in the Waterloo Community Unit School District 5 in 1985. I did my undergraduate studies at Illinois State University and my graduate studies at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. I have been certified in special education (deaf and hard of hearing), elementary education, reading, and education administration. I live with my husband in Swansea, Illinois. I love to read and encourage children to keep trying books until the y find what they like to read. I enjoy baking, walking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
