FLA On-Cycle Process

In an effort to continuously improve instruction, each year one Fundamental Learning Area is targeted to study, evaluate, and work on curriculum needs in depth.  This team meets throughout the school year and the summer to address topics such as:

  • Align curriculum K through 12 and across grade levels

  • Best teaching practices and strategies

  • Essential learnings

  • Course content and resources

  • Future goals

  • Technology integration

As a result of these efforts, a handbook is developed to describe the framework of each Fundamental Learning Area.  A copy of the handbook may be obtained from the district's central office.
