Cooperate with the teacher, other students and school rules.

Smile.Any classroom rule that is not followed will result in a consequence (see below), and the student will be required to record the infraction in their agenda.

- Verbal warning
- Name on board
- Check mark next to name and loss of 5 minutes of recess
- Second check mark and loss of complete morning recess
- Visit to the principal and note or call home
Severity Clause: A child may be sent to the principal at anytime if the behavior is deemed harmful to the child, other students or teacher.
Students will have homework in third grade. It usually ranges from 30 to 45 minutes Monday through Thursday. It is beneficial to your child to have a homework routine and the work checked by a parent each night.
Any child who does not complete his or her homework three times in one week OR two times in two consecutive weeks will be considered as a homework issue. Homework issues will be dealt with on an individual basis.
In order for third grade students to be successful, completion of homework is necessary. Each day there is an incomplete assignment, including items that are not signed, will result in their name on the board. The student will stay in at recess to complete a late assignment.
