Handbook Letter Dear Families, It won’t be long and we will be getting back into the school routine. I hope everyone is having a nice summer. I wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself if your child is new to the Early Childhood program. Our classroom is located in the trailer on the left side of Zahnow. The window in the door has EC on it. Your child will need to be registered before they can come to school. There will be a small fee and you will need to bring your child’s social security number and a copy of their birth certificate. Your child will also need an updated physical on file in the office. The AM class meets from 8:00-10:45. The PM class meets from 12:00-2:25. It is important that continuity and communication between home and school be successful. I will be sending home weekly newsletters explaining our theme and planned activities. Your child will also be bringing home a daily sheet explaining what we did that specific day and if anything important happened. It is important that you read these notes daily. They best way to get in contact with me is to put a note in their folder when they come back to school. I check their folders everyday and will respond back as necessary. Quarterly progress reports will be sent home stating the progress made on your child’s IEP. This will be their report card. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
