General Announcements

Students, you are only allowed to leave at the bus bell if you are boarding a bus to go home. All other students should remain in class until the town bell rings. Detentions will be assigned to those who choose to break the rules.

The following students have items to be picked up in the library: Kyleigh Hecht and Shelby Mathes

There will be a yearbook meeting after school Thursday in room E203.

Yearbooks will be handed out today through Thursday after school in the Library until 3:30.

Agendas and Bulldog water bottles are still available for purchase in the main office.

Every Friday is Bulldog Pride day!  Wear your orange and black or anything that shows your involvement in school activities and groups!  Wear it loud and proud, Bulldogs!

Guidance

Schneider’s Quality Meats is looking for part-time help with clean-up. 4-5 days a week (about 20 hours). Stop by Schneider’s and fill out an application!

Athletics

Tonight our Bulldog soccer team takes on our rival Gibault Hawks in their first home game of the season!  Support your home team and fill the stands with orange and black fans!

Route 3 Rivalry shirts for the Waterloo vs Columbia game on Sept 6th may be purchased for $10 each. The online link is available on the website under Athletics, or you may order them in the main office. All proceeds are donated to Songs4Soldiers and WHS will be competing with Columbia for the most money raised.

The Varsity girls tennis team had another great win yesterday against Jerseyville making their record 2-0! All Varsity girls, Grace Daab, Mikhayla Haloftis,Megan Hanks,Bethany Holman,Emily Williams, and Allison Zilafro, contributed to the great victory. The JV girls also won with a score of 7-2 improving their record to 2-0. The girls have their first home match today vs Civic Memorial so come out and support!!!

 

The soccer team got their season off to a great start by beating Belleville East 1-0.  Brennan Lacroix had the lone goal and Will Hicks had the assist.  JV also won 2-1 with goals coming from Jake Cooling and Christian Schramm.
