General Announcements

There will be a yearbook meeting today after school in room E203.

The following students have items to be picked up in the library: Dalton Blanchard, Tyler Cooley, Rylee Dennis, Tanner Fry, Katerin Goodsell, Kyleigh Hecht, Alexandria Krebel, Shelby Mathes, BreAnna Miller, Ethan Mitcherson, Blake Obst, Ali Scace, and Brandon Stephens.

Today will be the last day that yearbooks will be handed out after school in the Library until 3:30.

Every Friday is Bulldog Pride day!  Wear your orange and black or anything that shows your involvement in school activities and groups!  Wear it loud and proud, Bulldogs!

 

Guidance

 Schneider’s Quality Meats is looking for part-time help with clean-up. 4-5 days a week (about 20 hours). Stop by Schneider’s and fill out an application!

Athletics

Route 3 Rivalry shirts for the Waterloo vs Columbia game on Sept 6th may be purchased for $10 each. The online link is available on the website under Athletics, or you may order them in the main office. All proceeds are donated to Songs4Soldiers and WHS will be competing with Columbia for the most money raised.

The soccer team defeated crosstown rival Gibault 2-0 last night to remain undefeated on the young season.  Mason Springer and Eli Gardner had the goals and Hayden Reese had both assists.  JV also won 2-0 with both goals coming from Jake Cooling and Zach Lenz getting the assist.

Varsity boys golf team defeated Belleville West last night at Acorns Golf Links. Nate Albrecht was low medalist for all golfers with a 41 followed by close runner up Jacob Dinkelman with a 42. Tonight the dogs play host to conference rival Jerseyville Panthers.

Another big win yesterday for the Varsity girls tennis against Civic Memorial, making their record 3-0. Wins were had by all including Grace Daab, Mikhayla Haloftis, Megan Hanks, Bethany Holman, Hailey Storm, Emily Williams and Allison Zilafro.  The JV squad had to split with some playing at home while the majority played at CM. The girls won most of the matches and also improved to 3-0.
