Student Council applicants--please check your school email Friday at 3:15 to see if you made Student Council. We had over 60 qualified applicants, so please try again next year if you were not selected!
Students interested in being part of the yearbook staff, please pick up an application. The yearbook staff works together to create the school’s yearbook. This process includes: choosing photos, writing captions, taking pictures, helping design pages, and many other tasks related to putting together the yearbook. If you are interested in applying to be part of the yearbook staff, please see Mrs. Walthes in room 115 for an application.
Tryouts for 7th and 8th grade girls basketball will be held Monday, October 7. A current physical must be on file in order to tryout.
Interested in helping out in the library? If so, the WJHS Library Advisory Council might be for you. Tasks will include shelving, reorganizing, and checking in books, assisting with book fairs, creating decorations and displays, attending book clubs, and promoting books. The council will consist of roughly ten students. Applications will be in your email and need to be completed by September 25. The council will be announced at the end of the month. Come support the Waterloo School District by participating in the 4th Annual Bulldog Color Run/Walk on September 28, 2019. The race starts at 5:30pm at the Gardner Soccer Fields. Registration forms can be found online or in any of the school offices.
