Big News from the Library!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce something truly spectacular!

Waterloo Community Unit School District #5 and the Morrison-Talbott Library have finalized an Intergovernmental Agreement! What does this mean?

Every student and every full-time staff member in our district is now eligible for a FREE library card, regardless of where they live! This is a massive win for our community! 

Here's how to claim your new access:

For Students

  • A student and their parent/guardian must go to the library.
  • The parent/guardian will fill out the application form.
  • Students will receive a Student Card, granting access to all library books and all of the amazing online databases and digital resources!
This agreement has been a long time coming, and it took a lot of hard work from both sides. Please, if you get a chance, give a massive thank you to our incredible Morrison-Talbott Library, the School Board, and the Administration for making this happen and giving our students and staff this incredible opportunity!
