Athletics

Your Bulldogs claimed a share of the MVC Championship in dramatic fashion last night by beating Triad 3-2 in a penalty kick shootout.  Derek Young and Jake Elsing had the goals with Hayden Reese getting the assist.  The win improves their record to 18 wins 3 losses and 3 ties on the season.  The JV closed out their season with a 2-0 victory over Triad and finished their season with a 12-3-1 record.

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams at the conference championships.  After two years of suffering a hip fracture and having hip surgery, Rachel Patterson persevered and fought back to become the girls conference champion!  The boys also did not disappoint. They came home with 3 all-conference athletes.  Freshman sensation Joe Schwartz finished in 10th, senior king Jackson McAlister finished in 2nd place, and speedy Eli Ward took home the boys conference championship!

Congratulations to the Freshmen Football team on their win last night against Mascoutah 53-12.

The Freshmen completed the season with a 7-1 record. Way to go Dogs!

Congratulations to the Varsity, JV, and Fresh/Soph Volleyball teams on their victories over Triad last night.
