General Announcements

 

Student Council is hosting a Halloween Costume Contest on Thursday during lunch. Dress up in your finest Halloween costume to participate! It will be held the last 10 minutes of each lunch in the main hallway. Dress code applies and no masks may be worn.

 

Thank you to all of those who sold TJ's pizza for post-prom.  Pizza pick up will be right after school in the secondary gym on Thursday, Nov. 7th.  Congratulations to the top sellers who were selected for the pizza party.  Alaina Aubuchon, Alivia Reese, Skyler Culpepper, Cole Glowacki, Sydney Haddick, and Megan Hanks.  Please come to D118 today before lunch to get your pizza.

 

Spanish Tutoring is cancelled for Thursday October 31st.

 

Anyone interested in participating in Scholar Bowl that has not already talked to me needs to see Mr. Brueggeman in Room B210 sometime this week.  We are especially in need of freshmen.  Practices will start next week.  Be checking your Remind account for updates.

 

If you are going on the construction expo field trip, please be in Mr. Palmer's room by 9:30.

Guidance

 

Students - If you opted out of PE to participate in a fall sport and that sport is now finished, please return to your physical education class. Schedules have been adjusted.

 

The Marines will be in the Guidance Office during activity period to speak with any junior or senior that is interested in the ROTC scholarship.

 

Athletics

 

There will be open mat practices for wrestling on Tuesday and Thursday, this week and next. Newcomers are free to come out and give the sport a shot!

 

Congratulations to our Volleyball Bulldogs on their victory over Civic Memorial last night in the Regional semifinals. The Bulldogs will face Taylorville tomorrow night for the Regional championship.  Hope to see you there!!
