General Announcements

 Feeling cooped up and have the winter blues? We have something for you. All members of WHS clubs/Activities /Sports

are invited to join a Bowling Tournament on Sunday, February 18th from 6-8 pm.  See your coach/sponsor or Señora Koeneman for questions and registration forms. Forms are due today. Space is limited.

 

The NHS Blood Drive is Thursday, February 15th in the Secondary Gym.  If you are at least 16, weigh at least 110 pounds, and would like to help save lives, see Mr. Brueggeman in the math hallway room B210 to sign up. Please help us reach our goal of 80 usable pints from our students and staff.

 

Are you lonely? Do you need a new best friend or significant other?  If so, stop by the Match-o-Matic table during LOVAPALOOZA February 12 - 14 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) to see who your soul mate is.  Wooden roses for your Valentine will also be available.  Match-o-Matics are $3 and roses are $1.00.

 

Attention Saturday Scholars, don't forget to stop by room D209 to sign up on the door of whether or not you can attend the third session.  There is a waiting list. 

 

Congratulations to this year's Renaissance Top Dog Award nominees! Please check the lists posted around the building and congratulate the nominees. Nominees, please meet with Mrs. Crockett in the auditorium during Activity Period on February 14th for a short meeting to learn more about the upcoming award ceremony.

 

The following students have books to be picked up in the library: Mitch Baldwin, Jax Chitty, Hunter Demers and Kenzy Koudelka

 

Students:  Friday, February 16th is the last day to drop a class to add a study hall.  If you do not already have a study hall that meets every day, then you are able to drop a class for a study hall.  Come to guidance to talk to your counselor about dropping a class before Friday.

 

The transition program will be selling their sweet treats this week during 5th and 6th hour lunch.

Oreo balls $1.00, sugar and chocolate chip cookies $1.00, chocolate covered pretzel rods $.50.
