WCUSD#5 Families, Please check the following bus route list for new changes effective today. Busses 7 & 22 will be combined (except for Edgewater Subdivision) onto bus 7 until further notice. Edgewater Subdivision will be riding bus 15. Some students from bus 1 and 10 will now be riding bus 21. Reminder: WCUSD5 is offering a free breakfast and lunch each day to all students for the 2021/2022 school year. Your child may need money if they are purchasing items besides the free meals. Bus drop off times have been updated on the bus route sheet. Bus numbers are listed in Skyward. Please remember, times are approximate and may be slightly delayed the next few days while everyone adjusts to the new school year. Masks are required to be worn while riding the bus. Dear families, The State of Illinois is encouraging all school districts to feed their students for free this year to limit any additional financial stress on families. With this in mind, WCUSD5 will be offering all students their first breakfast and first lunch each day for free for the 2021/2022 school year. Any items outside of this meal will be charged at the a la carte price. Second meals will be charged at the a la carte rate as well as beverages. Free and reduced applications are still available online and at each school office. Your eligibility is used to waive school fees and by our staff to receive future funding for our students. If you think your family would qualify, please complete an application and return to myself at Rogers Elementary School. Ruth M. House of Neighborly Services and Illinois Central School Bus are teaming up! They will be at Waterloo Walmart collecting school supplies for parents and students in need on the following dates. You can help by picking up a few extra supplies while you are shopping for yours! Friday 7/30: 4-8pm Saturday 7/31: 10am-6pm Sunday 8/1: 1pm-4pm
