WJHS is pleased to announce the students who were nominated to receive a Bulldog Trait of the Month certificate recently. The trait for April was SELF-AWARE. The students pictured here have shown that they have the ability to recognize, understand, and label their own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, which influence their actions, goal achievement, and resilience. Great job, Bulldogs!

In recognition of School Lunch Hero Day, please join us in showing appreciation for the awesome cafeteria staff at WJHS! These ladies do an amazing job and show tremendous care for our students as they serve meals each day. We are grateful for their service to our school community!

Congratulations to these WJHS students who were recently recognized for the March Bulldog of the Month Trait - PROBLEM SOLVER! We are thankful for students who work to find solutions to problems - inside and outside of the classroom. We appreciate their willingness to help others learn this skill that is an important part of being resilient! Well done, Bulldogs! Keep leading by example!

WJHS wants to send a hearty congrats to everyone involved in the Spring play that concluded on Friday night. Special thanks to Mrs. Kreinberg and her assistants for directing a great show. The cast and crew did a great job, and lots of fun, laughs, and even crowd prizes for BINGO winners were part of the experience. Bravo!

WJHS is pleased to announce that Mr. Mark Toennies has been named the Staff Member of the Month for April! Mr. Toennies will retire at the end of this year after a long and successful career teaching in our district. We appreciate his ability to teach in ways that make history come alive for his students! Elsa's pollinator garden is blooming with homemade tulips sharing messages of support, strength, and care for Elsie and the Wiemerslage family. Our students and staff have also raised funds for Elsa's bucket list through a hat day and our recent trivia night. We want the Wiemerslages to know that no one fights alone. Your Bulldog family is with you.
